Never serve mulled wine, always have disco lights and make sure you play Abba, our panel of party animals advises. Nowadays my number of people for a party is about 20. Then everyone gets to have reasonably meaningful interactions. As one gets older, relationships on the cocktail party level become more and more tedious. That said, it was my 20th last weekend and we ended up with about 120 people. We got a guy in to roast some lambs on a fire in the garden. It looked and smelt incredible, and drew people outside.
We will be inviting all of Derrie's minions along with work collegues and their pets.
Why should I Bother?
